Last weekend we heard some interesting stories from some of our customers that they had tried a popular off the shelf fuel additive product from a local automotive store. She was quite surprised when her motor started having some trouble afterwards and after taking it to the shop she was able to correlate that rather than help her car (as the fuel additive bottles claimed they would do), they ended up making matters worse. Products that promised clean fuel lines delivered quite the opposite. Curiosity got the best of us so we got the team together in Glenn’s basement and decided to do a few tests shotgun style to see if there were any obvious reasons why these products performed so poorly compared to Motor Whiskey®. We purchased a bunch of bottles of the industry leaders and went to work with a few demonstrations that we felt were easily reproducible without any special equipment. It was important that these tests were reproducible so that if our viewers were inclined (and took the proper precautions) they could see with their own eyes some alarming properties these fuel products exhibit.
